Day One

Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by a representative from BushBreaks & More… After taking delivery of documentation and your Budget rental vehicle, please make your way to the V&A Waterfront, the beginning of an exciting adventure!

Day Two

Below are a couple of ideas of what to see and do during your holiday in the Cape.

Day Three

After breakfast, travel to the charming seaside village of Hermanus via Sir Lowry's Pass and through the apple region of Grabouw and Elgin. Summer homes of many of the country's playwrights, authors, politicians and business millionaires will be seen. Even British aristocracy migrate here with the summer swallows to enjoy the magic atmosphere.

See the miracle of nature as the Antarctic whales come into Walker Bay to calve between July and October. The 'whale-crier' proclaims the arrival of the whales by way of a seaweed horn. Ever since commercial whaling was banned the number of visiting whales has increased dramatically.

Day Four

Travel to Oudtshoorn and visit the internationally renowned Cango Caves, one of the world's great natural wonders. Sculpted by nature through the ages, their fascinating limestone formations occur in a variety of colours. A guided tour leads through the calcite caves, revealing fascinating shapes enhanced by strategic lighting. Thereafter visit the Cango Wildlife Ranch and Highgate Ostrich Ranch where you can proceed on a guided tour to learn more about these peculiar birds. Continue to the picturesque, quaint town of Knysna. Knysna is set on an extensive lagoon system and is guaranteed to leave you awe-struck by its natural beauty.

Day Five

After breakfast you may want to head for Plettenberg Bay and on to the Tsitsikamma National Park known for it’s famous “Hanging Bridge”. Later in the afternoon embark on a cruise up the Lagoon to the famous “Heads”.

Day Six

Make your way to George airport in sufficient time to check-in for your schedule flight departing for Johannesburg.

Flight: George – Johannesburg

On arrival at O.R Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, you will be met and transferred to your Hotel.

Overnight: Michelangelo Hotel, Mandela Square, Sandton City

Day Seven

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to O.R Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg in sufficient time to check-in for your light aircraft flight to Singita Airstrip.

On arrival at Singita airstrip, you will be met by your ranger who will act as your host during your time at the Reserve. Following registration, you will be shown around the camp and to your allocated room.

Singita Lodge is renowned for its luxurious accommodation and superb game viewing, situated in the Sabi Sand Reserve. It epitomizes Africa’s magic, and will awaken something deep in your soul, from the legendary safari walks to the abundance of wildlife, this exclusive lodge has a pulse all of its own.

13:30 Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.

Relax, unwind and enjoy the beginning of a wonderful two days in the bush!

16:00 Experience the beauty of the African bush on your late afternoon game drive. At sunset, stop off in the bush, and while sipping your “sundowner” watch the sun as it sinks into the dusty horizon. As darkness approaches, the tracker will scan the bush with a powerful spotlight and will point out the elusive nocturnal wildlife – a highlight of the day’s safari.

The open landrovers return to camp at approximately 19:30, with time to freshen up before meeting for dinner.

Dinner is served in the “boma”. While seated around a log fire under the starry African sky, enjoy the superb food – yet another highlight of the Singita experience.

Day Eight

06:00 Set out as the sun rises for your early morning game drive. This is an African safari at it’s best. Witness the African veld awakening to a new day as the early morning mists lift, with the opportunity to view the abundant wildlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast.

Should you be interested in a game walk, speak to your game ranger who will gladly oblige. Alternatively, relax around the pool, browse through the safari boutique or perhaps take a siesta to make up for that early morning wake-up call!

13:30 Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.

16:00 Proceed on another unforgettable safari. As darkness settles over the bush, look out for the Milky Way – a truly spectacular sight – or try to find the Southern Cross.

Return to camp for a delicious dinner, prepared especially for you by Singitas’ chef and culinary team.

Day Nine

06:00 Proceed on your early morning game drive.

10:30 You will be transferred to Skukuza airport. Collect your Budget rental car and make your way to Cybele Forest Lodge.

Day Ten

After breakfast, you will have the opportunity of viewing the highlights of Mpumalanga. Make at stop at Pilgrim's Rest - one of the best examples of a living museum, the village is a replica of the early gold mining town.

Visit the Bourke's Luck Potholes which were formed by river erosion and the action of flood water, and the magnificent Blyde River Canyon, a gigantic gorge, 26km long and carved out of the face of the escarpment, one of the natural wonders of Africa. Lastly, head for God's Window which provides a boundless view, stretching across miles of thickly forested mountains.

Day Eleven

Please make your way to Nelspruit (KMIA) Airport in sufficient time to check-in for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day Twelve

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Mauritius.

Flight: Johannesburg – Mauritius

6 nights at the Sugar Beach Hotel

Day Eighteen

This morning you will be transferred to the airport in sufficient time to check-in for your flight back to Johannesburg.

Flight: Mauritius – Johannesburg

On arrival, please check-in directly for your flight home.
